The 53rd BELMOT Oldtimer Grand Prix will take place from August 7 to 9, 2026, at the legendary Nürburgring in Germany. As one of Europe’s most celebrated historic motorsport festivals, it will once again bring together more than 500 classic race cars spanning nearly a century of racing heritage. Fans can expect a packed program of demo runs, races, and parades, creating an atmosphere that blends nostalgia with the raw excitement of motorsport.

A central highlight of the event will be the “Vintage Sports Car Trophy”, where pre-war racers showcase the elegance and engineering of the early days of competition. As tradition holds, the beloved evening race for two-seaters and GTs up to 1965 will return, offering spectators a magical spectacle that often concludes with fireworks lighting up the Nürburgring night sky.

Touring-car fans are in for a treat, with the return of legendary DTM machines such as the BMW E30 M3, Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth, Volvo 240 Turbo, and Audi 200 M8. Many will be piloted by veteran drivers, ensuring a true trip down memory lane. For 2026, a dedicated race for two-liter super-tourers has also been added, providing fresh excitement and showcasing another golden era of touring car racing.

Meanwhile, the DRM Revival will once again roar through the Nürburgring with a powerful grid of Group 5 cars, ensuring fans of high-octane spectacle are not disappointed. Combined with an open paddock—accessible to all ticket holders—the event offers visitors the chance to get close to the cars, drivers, and teams in a way modern racing rarely allows.

With free entry for under-17s, the Oldtimer Grand Prix remains a truly family-friendly celebration of motorsport history. The 2026 edition promises even stronger fields, thrilling racing, and an unforgettable nostalgic atmosphere, cementing its place as one of the most exciting dates on the historic motorsport calendar.
