Festetics Concours d’Elegance

The Festetics Concours d’Elegance is a prestigious vintage car and motorcycle beauty contest held at the stately Festetics Castle in Keszthely, Hungary. The event takes place on September 6–7, 2025, with participant arrivals starting at 10:00 a.m. on September 6 and continuing throughout the day. For those bringing vehicles on trailers, guarded overnight parking is available in the courtyard of the Hunting Exhibition at the castle, ensuring both security and convenience for long-distance travelers.

More than just a static display, the event provides an immersive experience in automotive culture and history. Throughout the weekend, participants and visitors can enjoy the exhibitions at the Festetics Castle, the Carriage Museum, and the Hunting Museum. A buffet service is offered for vehicle owners, and they have full access to the castle’s impressive Carriage & Vehicle Collection. In addition, veteran vehicles over 30 years old are given special parking in a segregated area next to the Hunting Museum, creating a distinguished setting for classic car enthusiasts.

The Festetics Concours d’Elegance has gained recognition in the international classic car community, having been officially approved by the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA). This acknowledgment ensures that the concours adheres to global standards of authenticity and preservation. Past editions have showcased legendary models such as the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing and Bugatti 46, alongside motorcades through the scenic countryside near Lake Balaton. With its rising prestige and unique setting, the 2025 edition promises to be an unforgettable celebration of automotive elegance and history.
